Bowden cable protective hoses (shrink hoses)

We offer protective sleeves to protect the Bowden cable sleeves from abrasion

These are made of Polyelefin which offers a very high protection against abrasion.

Also these can be used to change the color of Bowden cables.

The application is very simple. Here are a few tips :

• If used as abrasion protection:

  For this purpose, the protective hose is cut to the required length and then pushed over the Bowden cable sleeve and then shrunk with a hot air blower, thereby fixing the hose around the Bowden cable sleeve

When used to change the color of the cable housing:

First the black sheathing of the Bowden cable is removed with a carpet knife, then the protective hose is pulled over the bare spiral and then shrunk with a hot air blower.
